Self Introduction
I am Rajeesh George, was born in 1978 as son of George (Jose) Arayanthanath at Payyavoor in Kannur District .My father is a farmer. It is because of his circumstances that he could not continue his higher studies. But still now he is an educated man. My mother is Mrs. Mary George who is a true housewife. I have a younger brother, Mr.Aneesh(Thomas)George ,who is working in Kuwait.
My childhood
I had an enjoyable childhood with lot of limitations. I did my primary studies from Sacred Heart L.P. School, at Payyavoor. Almost all the teachers were my neighbors or the friends of my father. So I could perform well in primary classes.
School life
Still I remember the High School life in Sacred Heart High School at Payyavoor where I had lots of friends.I could not perform well in high School as the expectations of my father even though he was the PTA President of the school in all the years. My school life was fully controlled one. I could be only an average student in Metric and I could score nearly first class marks .But my father had great expectations on me. I could score less mark in English. So I had to face a good tug of war with Pappa. It is because of that, I joined in seminary.
Seminary Life
It is because of my deep interest in English that I joined in Pallotigiri seminary in Trivandrum. It was the best opportunity for me to develop my personality and career. I could excel in all fields like studies, sports, music, games etc… Still I remember My music performances in chapels and on stages. There I had lots of friends from different parts of India.
College Life
When I came out from seminary I had great desire to be a computer professional. But my circumstances did not allow me to join for computer studies. So I joined for BA English as a challenge. While I was doing my graduation my father could send me for computer education with lot of difficulties. So I thought that it is better to do both courses simultaneously. I joined for DCA from LBS. Doing both courses was a tiresome task. But I took it as a challenge.
Higher studies
After my graduation I understood that it is not good to depend on my father so I started to work in a computer institute as an instructor. While I was working there I started to do MA English. Being a computer instructor I was forced to do PGDCA also. For me 2000 to 2002 was very important because I had to do lot of hard working during these years. While I was doing my final MA I started to teach in colleges for graduates and post graduates. "Learning by earning" was my policy, being a workaholic I could do it.
B Ed Studies
To continue as a teacher in Govt. sector I had to do B Ed so I applied for it, luckily I got admission in Salesian B Ed college in Dimapur. In order to improve my teaching quality, I thought that it is better to join in a Christian institution. From there I got the best training for a good teacher and I had lot of experience with lot of people from different parts of India as well as neighboring countries
SET Qualification
Soon after my B.Ed Examination I could apply for SET Exam. I was lucky in this case because only myself could write this exam from my batch
Career as Junior Lecturer
Soon after my SET exam,I got appointment in Tagore Senior Secondary School at Pehowa near Delhi. Teaching in a CBSE school was an easy job for me because I had been teaching in colleges. But living in North India was horrible for me. Life in Metropolitin city like Delhi helped me to learn many things.
Career as a recognized teacher in Kerala
While I was working in Tagore international I was searching for jobs in Kerala and abroad. With in one year I got appointment in BK Birla International School in Mumbai. But at the same time I got appointment in St.Mathews HS Kannankara.Even though I was interested to join in an international School,my parents compelled me to work in Kerala. My job in Kannakara was a pathetic so I was trying my maxim to get in a Higher Secondary School, It was easy for me because I was in second position in the both rank list. The heavenly almighty was with me so I got promotion to St.Michael's Higher Seondary School at Kaduthuruthy where I am working at present.
My Life in Knanaya Society
Being a member in Knanaya catholic society, my parents taught me lot of things about the kanaya society and its relations. So I was forced to join in Kanaya associations like KCYL.My enthusiastic and energetical organizational caliber helped me to be the president of payyavoor Town KCYL twice and the secretary of Madampam Forane KCYL and as an active regional executive of Malabar Region. Through KCYL,I could be a true Kanaya catholic and the leaders of many other association like president of ‘English Literary Association ‘ in college, Secretary of ‘Computer Instructors Association’, Secretary of ‘ College Lecturer Association’, as Staff secretary in Tagore international School.
Present Life
I am proud to be a Higher Secondary school teacher, I do my maxim to educate my students. As a teacher I should update myself so that I am doing my higher studies and as a computer faculty I am trying to learn the advancements in computer fields. Music always gives me relief and happiness so I do practice in musical instruments. I am in search of major educational institutions in Kerala or in abroad, especially in western countries.
